Mr. Luther Harold Walley, 91, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Monday, February 2, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Greene County, MS on Sunday, May 20, 1934, to the late George and Bertie Mae Walley. Mr. Walley served in the Mississippi National Guard. He was a member of Waynesboro First Baptist Church. He worked as a Sales Clerk at Gatlin Building Supply.

Mr. Walley is preceded in death by parents, George and Bertie Mae Walley; Daughter-In-Law, JoBeth Walley; three brothers, Lester Walley, Johnnie Walley, and Jimmy Walley; three sisters, Ruby Smith, Joyce West, and Marian Ward. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Martha G. Walley; son, Vince Walley, both of Waynesboro, MS; brother, Marlon Walley (Imogene); sister, Merlene Johnson, all of Clara, MS; grandson, Tucker Walley (Natalie); granddaughter, Amanda Ward (Corey), all of Waynesboro, MS; five great grandchildren, Jasen, Charlee, Walley, Chesleigh Walley, and Phoebe Walley; a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Walley will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. A Graveside Service will be held at 12:00 PM Thursday, February 5, 2026, at Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS with Dr. Steve Smith officiating. Interment will be in Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS. Pallbearers are Terry Loper, Patric Langley, Lonny McInnis, John Gatlin, Robbie Johnson, and Jasen Walker. Honorary Pallbearers are, John Howard, Leonard Jones, and Jamie Cochran.
