Mrs. Louise Ford, 94, of Millry, AL passed from this life Wednesday, December 18, 2024, in Chatom, AL. She was born in Washington County, AL on Sunday, June 8, 1930, to the late Clayton and Florrie Tate. She was a faithful and founding member of Pine Tree Holiness Church.
Mrs. Ford is preceded in death by her husband, J. W. Ford; parents, Clayton and Florrie Tate; daughter, Mildred Nowell; Sons-in-Law, J. W. Nowell and Jimmy Stewart; three brothers, Thomas Tate, James Tate, and Leonard Tate; three sisters, Florene Dearman, Rosa Lee Peterson, and Lois McCary; grandson, Jim Stewart. She is survived by two daughters, Ann Stewart and Kim Dyess (Keith), both of Millry, AL; sister, Lora Mitchell (Steve) of Bigbee, AL; five grandchildren, Marty Allday (Amanda), Millry, AL, Carmen Butts (Carlton), Frankville, AL, Nichole Phillips (Neil), Madson, AL, Jack Stewart (Brooke), and Kara Dearman (Todd), both of Millry, AL; 18 great grandchildren, Brennon, Brayden, Ashleigh, Alicia, Andrea, Allison, Autumn, Dylan, Victoria, Sydney, Jordan, Madison, Taylor, Karston, Clarke, Lillyanne, Everitt, and William; 12 great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mrs. Ford will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Michael Cooley and Rev. Justin Allen officiating. Interment will be in Pine Tree Cemetery in Millry, AL.
