Mrs. Lottie Virginia Wells, 82, of Chatom, AL passed from this life Monday, March 13, 2023 at Washington County Nursing Home in Chatom, AL. She was born in Millry, AL on Saturday, June 29, 1940 to the late Riley Lake Tate and Susie Tate. She was a member of Tabernacle Holiness Church. Mrs. Wells is preceded in death by four husbands, Stance Dearman, Johnnie Walley, Thomas Miller, Rufus Wells; parents, Riley Lake Tate and Susie Tate; five brothers, Lonnie Tate, Larence Tate, Lincoln Tate, Levi Tate, Lewis Tate; two sisters, Loriene Dearmon, Linnie Bradley. She is survived by her two sons, David Dearman (Karen), Dale Walley (Denise), both of Buckatunna, MS; sister, Lola Mae Beasley (Paul) of Millry, AL; five grandchildren, Terence Dearman (Katrina), Dava Holifield (Nick), Hayley Cochran (Deke), Hunter Walley (Allison), Harrison Walley, all of Buckatunna, MS; five great grandchildren, Kaylin, Ania, Triston, Paisley, and Easton. Visitation for Mrs. Wells will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Jim Koen officiating. Interment will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Millry, AL.
