Mrs. Lisa W. Singley, 56, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Thursday, September 22, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Tuesday, March 29, 1966 to Richard Weaver and Shirley J. (Mills) Weaver. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She started working at WABO Radio Station as (Lisa Lisa) while still in high school then left and went to First State Bank in Waynesboro after her children were in middle school. She later went to work as a Deputy Circuit Clerk for Wayne County. Mrs. Singley is preceded in death by her father, Richard Weaver; paternal grandparents, John and Mamie Weaver; maternal grandparents, Adolphus and Gertrude Mills. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Jerry Singley of Waynesboro, MS; mother, Shirley J. Weaver of Waynesboro, MS; two daughters, Katherine "K.C." Singley of Butler, AL, Jeri Renee Singley of Waynesboro, MS; brother, Richard C. Weaver of Hattiesburg, MS; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; two special family pets, Rookie and Saban (Roll Tide). Visitation for Mrs. Singley will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Monday, September 26, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, September 26, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Paul Roney and Rev. Phillip Gandy officiating. Interment will be in Hiwannee Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
