Mrs. Lesia Ann Odom, 59, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Thursday, April 22, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Waynesboro on Thursday, March 15, 1962 to Donald Ray Hutcherson and Joyce Hutcherson. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and The Gideons Auxiliary. She was a graduate of Clara High School then received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Nicholls State University followed by a Masters degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. She had worked as a Teacher for the Wayne County School District for 33 years. Mrs. Lesia is survived by her husband,  Kenny Odom, Waynesboro, MS; father, Donald Ray Hutcherson, mother, Joyce Hutcherson, both of Clara, MS; two daughters, Emily Wood (Marshall), Katie Odom (Daniel Johnson), Mother-In-Law, Ruth Odom; grandson, Wyatt Cole Johnson, all of Waynesboro, MS. Visitation for Mrs. Lesia will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Harris and Rev. Chris Cooper officiating. Interment will be in Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
