Ms. Lana Gardner Cochran, 66, of State Line, MS passed from this life Thursday, June 11, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Thursday, October 22, 1959, to the late Leonard and Alice Gardner.

   Ms. Cochran is survived by her two sons, Timothy Cochran of State Line, MS and Preston Cochran (Kristen) of Pensacola, FL; brother, Mike Gardner of Chatom, AL; three sisters, Becky Lindsey of Chatom, AL, Kay Stork of Lucedale, MS, and Sherry Williams of Chatom, AL; grandson, Trent Cochran of Laurel, MS.

   Visitation for Ms. Cochran will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, June 14, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Paul Harris officiating.
