Mrs. Kristy Holifield, 66, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Pine View Health and Rehabilitation in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Sunday, June 28, 1959, to the late Carolyn and Harry Shirley, Jr. She was a member of Southern Methodist Church of Waynesboro.

Mrs. Holifield is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Holifield; parents, Carolyn and Harry Shirley, Jr.; daughter, Sasha Bonoit. She is survived by her son, Ryan Holifield (Jessica) of Ellisville, MS; aunt, Mary Anne Walker; two brothers, Timmy Shirley and Charles Shirley (Angie), all of Waynesboro, MS; sister, Angela "Cookie" Shirley of Portland, OR; 8 grandchildren.
