Ms. Kristie Barnett, 52, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Meridian, MS on Saturday, February 6, 1971, to Hubert D. Butler and Mamie Sue Perry. She worked as a respiratory Therapist at Rush Hospital in Meridian, MS. Ms. Barnett is preceded in death by her father, Hubert D. Butler. She is survived by her mother, Mamie Sue Perry (Justin); son, Gerald Thomas Barnett, II; granddaughter, Zoie Barnett; brother, Hugh Butler (Tamara); two nephews, Ryan Butler, Ethan Butler; niece, Amber Butler, all of Waynesboro, MS. Visitation for Ms. Barnett will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 23, 2023, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Tom Walker officiating. Interment will be in Hebron Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
