Kay Dunnam, age 88 of Old Avera Road, State Line, Mississippi passed from this life into heaven on Thursday, January 22,2026, with her loving sister, Joan by her bedside. Kay was born in Greene County, Mississippi on June 28, 1937. Kay was a native of Greene County and lived there most of her life. In later years, she spent a great deal of time in Texas. Kay had a disabling disease in childhood and survived many health hardships especially during the last four years when she struggled with cancer and blindness. In spite of her handicaps, Kay faced each health crisis with a strong desire to spring back with perseverance and live her life to the fullest possible. Kay loved the Lord and carried a strong faith throughout life. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, Eva Lee Kittrell Dunnam and William M. Dunnam Sr.; two brothers, Rev. James T. Dunnam, Sr. and William M. (Bill) Dunnam. Jr.; two sisters, June Dunnam Everitt and Janye L. Dunnam; niece, Sherry Larimore; nephew, James T. Dunnam, Jr. Kay is survived by her sister Joan D. (Herbert) Young of State Line, Mississippi, niece Susan Raines of Florida, special niece Jamie (T.J.) Johnson of Georgia and special great niece and nephew Kelsey Larimore and Brett ( Ashley) Larimore of Texas. Visitation will be held from 1:00p.m.-2:00p.m. prior to the funeral service which will occur on January 31, 2026, at 2:00p.m. within Fellowship Baptist Church in Greene County, Mississippi. The funeral services will be officiated by Rev. Paul Harris and interment will be held at Fellowship Cemetery in Greene County, Mississippi.
