Mrs. Kathy Waite, 68, of Millry, AL passed from this life Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at Mobile Infirmary Hospital West in Mobile, AL surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Sunday, January 23, 1955, to the late Bee and Allie Beasley. She was a member of the Independent Community Church. Mrs. Waite is preceded in death by her parents, Bee and Allie Beasley; four brothers, Benny Beasley, Ronnie Beasley, Randy Beasley, and Billy Beasley; three sisters, Mary Murphy, Frances Crager, and Naomi Guy. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Michael P. Waite of Millry, AL; three sons, Shannon Waite (Crystal) of Clara, MS, Shaun Waite (Mary Ann), Joshua Waite (Ashley), both of Millry, AL; three sisters, Kay Beasley of State Line, MS, Faye McRae of Millry, AL, Sarah Logan of Clanton, AL; six grandchildren, Canaan Waite (Taylor), Seth Waite (Breana), Noah Waite (Amber), Zion Waite, Ansley Waite, and Jameson Waite; great granddaughter, Wrenleigh Waite. Visitation for Mrs. Waite will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday, December 22, 2023, at Independent Community Church, Millry, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 22, 2023, at Independent Community Church in Millry, AL with Rev. Jim Koen, Rev. Mark Guy, Rev. David Tennyson, and Rev. Junior Brewer officiating. Interment will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Millry, AL. Pallbearers are Ron Beasley, William Guy, Lance Mooney, Fred Keith, Lee Dale Keith, and Wendall McIlwain.
