Mrs. Kathleen Latrita Waites, 73, of Clara, MS passed from this life Monday, February 28, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Waynesboro on Friday, February 4, 1949 to Joe Davis and Catherine Davis. She was a member of Clara First Church of God. She worked as a Secretary at Buster's Welding. Mrs. Kathleen is preceded in death by her father, Joe Davis; mother, Catherine Davis; two brothers, Rayborn Davis, Dannis Davis; sister, Ann Holifield. She is survived by her husband, James R. "Buster" Waites, Clara, MS; two sons, Dustin Waites (Ashley), Clara, MS, Richard Waites (Wendy), State Line, MS; daughter, Shelia D. Waites, Laurel, MS; eight grandchildren, Ashton Ethridge, Emily Waites, Destiny Waites, Layla Waites, Andrew Savage, Kathryn Revette, Hannah Dickerson, Destiny Dickerson. Visitation for Mrs. Kathleen will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Chris Cooper officiating. Interment will be in Maynor Creek Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
