Mrs. Karen Layne Stark, 59, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Thursday, May 2, 2024, in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Jackson, MS on Sunday, March 28, 1965, to the late Robert Doyle Collins and Barbara Gale Collins. She was a member of East End Baptist Church in Columbus, MS and Clara First Baptist Church in Clara, MS. Mrs. Stark is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Doyle Collins and Barbara Gale Collins; grandson, Gabriel Collins. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Samuel "Joey" Stark of Waynesboro, MS; two sons, Donald Collins of Clarksville, TN, Samuel Joseph Stark, II (Brittney) of West Point, MS; daughter, Christina Gail "Chrissy" Stark of Vernon, AL; step mother, Shelia Collins of Star City, AR; four brothers, Randy Woodard, Richard Woodard, Ricky Collins, Robert Daniel "Danny" Collins; two grandchildren, Shaylynn Barnett and Tristan Kade Collins. A Celebration of Life for Mrs. Stark will be held at 6:00 PM Monday, May 13, 2024, at Magnolia's at The Ritz, 621 Commerce Street, West Point, MS 39773 with Rev. Byron Benson officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to East End Baptist Church Co-Ed IV Sunday school class.
