Mr. Julian "J J" Jordan, 71, of Buckatunna, MS passed from this life Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Wednesday, May 12, 1954, to the late James Taylor Jordan and Martha Rene Jordan. He worked as a motor hand in the Oil Field.

Mr. Jordan is preceded in death by his parents, James Taylor Jordan and Martha Rene Jordan; brother, Jessie Jordan; sister, Janice Faye Wolf. He is survived by his daughter, Courtney Carpenter (Dody); two brothers, Jimmy Jordan and Jackie Jordan, all of Buckatunna, MS; three grandchildren, Kody Taylor, Braxton Taylor, and Breanna Jordan; great grandson, Sawyer Taylor.

Visitation for Mr. Jordan will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, August 1, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Brad Maxcey officiating. Interment will be in Jordan Family Cemetery in Buckatunna, MS.
