Mrs. Juanell B. Watkins, 84, of Silas, AL passed from this life Sunday, June 8, 2025, at Washington County Nursing Home in Chatom, AL. She was born in Clara, MS on Sunday, September 22, 1940, to the late Harry H. Bunch, Sr. and Jenni Mills Bunch. She was a member of Eucutta Independent Church. She retired as an Office Clerk at Choctaw Holding. Mrs. Watkins is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy "Jimbo" Watkins; parents, Harry H. Bunch, Sr. and Jenni Mills Bunch; daughter, Jenni Mosley; grandson, Eric Mosley; brothers and sisters, Harry H. Bunch, Jr., Gladys B. Brown, Erman Bunch, Thurman Bunch, and Doris B. Gunter. She is survived by two sons, Austin L. Watkins (Wanda) of Silas, AL and Andy Watkins of Cantonment, FL; sister, Naomi Morgan; five grandchildren, Ryan Watkins of Quitman, MS, Sabrina Lovette (Nick) of Butler, AL, Heath Mosley of Eucutta, MS, Seth Mosley of Eucutta, MS, and Brandi Thornton of Fruitdale, AL; four great grandchildren, Kelsie Lovette, Aiden Lovette, Ethan Thorton, and Eric Thornton. Visitation for Mrs. Watkins will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Jesse Griffith and Rev. Pat Patterson officiating. Interment will be in Spring Bank Cemetery in Silas, AL.
