Mr. Joseph Greg Vanosdol, 52, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, August 26, 2022 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Friday, December 26, 1969 to Ellis Vanosdol and Mildred Sue Vanosdol. He was a member of West Shady Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Joseph served in the United States Army National Guard and was a Veteran of Operation Desert Storm. He worked as a construction worker for J & R Construction. Mr. Joseph is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Sue Vanosdol. He is survived by his father, Ellis Vanosdol (Jo Lane), Waynesboro, MS; two sons, Channing Vanosdol (Cher), Waynesboro, MS, Riley Vanosdol, Laurel, MS; granddaughter, Farrah Vanosdol, Laurel, MS; three grandsons, Easton Middleton, Lucedale, MS, Dawson Stewart, Bentley Stewart both of Chatom, AL; step granddaughter, Kyla Rigby; two step grandsons, Colby Rigby, Wade Pierce all of Lucedale, MS. Visitation for Mr. Joseph will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday, August 29, 2022 at West Shady Grove Baptist Church in Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 PM Monday, August 29, 2022 at West Shady Grove Baptist Church in Waynesboro, MS with Dr. Stephen Smith and Rev. Ryan Powers officiating. Interment will be in West Shady Grove Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
