Mr. Joseph D. "Danny Boy" Lee, 58, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Thursday, February 17, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Waynesboro on Monday, December 23, 1963 to Rudy Lee and Wanda Lee. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He worked as a Self-employed Carpenter. Mr. Lee is preceded in death by his father, Rudy Lee; mother, Wanda Lee; brother, Glynn Lee; sister, Lynn Serach. He is survived by his son, Dillion Lee (Staca), Buckatunna, MS; daughter, Summer Lossett (Austin), Waynesboro, MS; four brothers, Buddy Lee (Cathy), Eddie Lee (Becka), both of Waynesboro, MS, Larry T. Lee (Sandy), Jimmy Lee (Patricia), both of Buckatunna, MS; sister, Margie Odom, Buckatunna, MS; six grandchildren, Katie Lee, CeAnna Lee, Jonathan Lee, Liam Lossett, Lula Jane George, Tyler Wheeler. Visitation for Mr. Lee will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Maynor Creek Assembly of God Church, 5422 Highway 84, Waynesboro, MS. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, February 21, 2022 at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Waynesboro with Rev. Marvin Griffin officiating.
