Mr. Johnny Junior Stokley, 83, of Choctaw County, AL passed from this life Sunday, August 18, 2024, at Washington County Nursing Home in Chatom, AL. He was born in Choctaw County, AL on Saturday, March 15, 1941, to the late Slater Judge Stokley and Dessie Alberta (Brown) Stokley. He was a member of Silas First Baptist Church. He retired as a CNA after working over 30 years at Willow Trace Nursing Home in Butler, AL.

Mr. Stokley is preceded in death by his parents, Slater Judge Stokley and Dessie Alberta (Brown) Stokley; three brothers, Lawrence Lee Stokley, Jerry Lamar Stokley, Clarence Edward Stokley; four sisters, Clarice Loper, Leslie Mae Bridier, Eunice Irene Stokley, Frances Faye Shirley. He is survived by two brothers, Dennis Franklin Stokley of Milton, FL, Ellis Leon Stokley (Liz) of Silas, AL; a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Stokley will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Douglas R. Chapman officiating. Interment will be in Edgar Cemetery in Silas, AL.
