Mr. Johnny Wayne Dees, 65, of Chatom, AL passed from this life Sunday, August 14, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Chatom, AL on Monday, December 10, 1956 to John F. Dees and Ella Chafin Dees. He attended Flat Branch Assembly of God Church. He worked as a self-employed Timber Buyer and Real Estate Broker. Mr. Dees is preceded in death by his father, John F. Dees; daughter, Kristen Mallory Dees. He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Michelle Tate Dees; son, Ransey Tate Dees; mother, Ella Chafin Dees; sister, Pam Dees Thompson (Timothy) all of Chatom, AL; mother-in-law, Ethel L. Tate; sister-in-law, Dana Tate Clements (James) both of Millry, AL. Visitation for Mr. Dees will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at Flat Branch Assembly of God Church, Millry, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Flat Branch Assembly of God Church in Millry, AL with Rev. Jim Koen and Rev. Leland James, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in Jones-Hill Cemetery in Millry, AL. Pallbearers are Tony Anderson, Ronald Hadley, Larry Hubbard, Dale Jones, Jimmy Kirkland, and Larry Moss. Honorary Pallbearers are Tommy Kelley, Rob McCraw, Chuck Reynolds, Stanley Singleton, Brad Thornton, and Keenan Williams.
