Mr. Johnny "Humpback" Davis, 70, of Millry, AL passed from this life Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at his residence in Millry, AL. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Sunday, July 10, 1955, to the late James Vaughan Davis and Bobbie Faye Davis. Mr. Davis served in the Unted States Army. He was a member of the Wayne County Volunteer Fire Department for many years. He attended Little Rock Assembly of God Church. Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his parents, James Vaughan Davis and Bobbie Faye Davis; brother, Randy Davis; three great grandchildren, Delta, Wyatt, and Walker. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Teresa "Reese" Davis of Millry, AL; two daughters, Delaine West (Jason) of Mize, MS and Tiffney Davis (Julius Wright) of Millry, AL; two brothers, Ralph Davis and Rufus Davis; sister, Judy Faye Davis; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Davis will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Marvin Griffin, Rev. Tommy Davis, and Rev. Ryan Powers officiating. Interment will be in Lee's Chapel Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
