Mr. John H. Patrick, 81, of Millry, AL passed from this life Saturday, December 18, 2021 at his residence in Millry, AL. He was born in Mobile, AL on Thursday, September 26, 1940 to Wesley Lorenzo "Louie" Patrick, Sr. and Nettie Carol Patrick. Mr. Patrick served in the United States Army and the United States Navy. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam Era where he was awarded the Purple Heart Medal. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He was retired as a maintenance man for the City of Gulf Shores. Mr. Patrick is preceded in death by his father, Wesley Lorenz0 "Louie" Patrick, Sr.; mother, Nettie Carol Valleau; daughter, Darla Packer; brother, Wesley Patrick; three sisters, Carol Wiggins, Mary Jordan, Frances Perkins. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Marie V. Patrick, Millry, AL; son, John David Patrick (Gayla), Millry, AL; daughter, Melissa Boen, Texas; two step daughters, Angela "Angi"  Chancellor (Les), Shana P. Dyess (Nate Taylor) both of Millry, AL; brother, Lonnie Patrick (Kathleen), Gulf Shores, AL; sister, Marcia Frazier (Charles), Brooklyn, AL; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Pallbearers are Bryan Chancellor, Brett Chancellor, Brandon Chancellor, Mikie Finch, Jonathan Gunn, and John Nathan Taylor. Visitation for Mr. Patrick will be held from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Antioch Baptist Church, Millry, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Antioch Baptist Church in Millry, AL with Rev. Bryan Jordan and Rev. Joe Williams officiating. Interment will be in Antioch Cemetery in Millry, AL.
