Mr. Joe Elton "Owl" Jordan, Jr., 71, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Diversicare of Quitman in Quitman, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Friday, April 24, 1953, to the late Joe Elton Jordan, Sr. and Mary Louise "Mae" Jordan. He retired as a cook and server at Joe's Hamburger in Waynesboro, MS. Mr. Jordan is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and "Mae" Jordan. He is survived by his two brothers, Gene Jordan, Ken Jordan (LaDonna), all of Waynesboro, MS; nephews, Joseph Jordan (Peyton) of Wetumpka, AL, Stephen Jordan (Emilee) of Richton, MS; great nephew, Waylon Jordan of Richton, MS. Visitation for Mr. Jordan will be held from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Friday, June 14, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. A Graveside Service will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, June 14, 2024, at Waynesboro Cemetery in Waynesboro in MS with Rev. Ken Jordan officiating. Interment will be in Waynesboro Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
