Mr. Joe Britton, 65, of Matherville, MS passed from this life Sunday, April 21, 2024 at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He was born in Alexandria, LA on Monday, December 15, 1958 to Lemuel Norwood Britton and Joyce Ailene Britton. He was a member of Geneva Presbyterian Church. He worked as a Home Remodeler at Happy Homes. Mr. Britton is preceded in death by his father, Lemuel Norwood Britton; mother, Joyce Ailene Britton; brother, James "Mike" Austin Britton; sister, Florence Ailene Brewer. He is survived by his wife, Margo Mathers Salone, Matherville, MS; sister, Mary Marguierite Sumrall (Martin), Matherville, MS; sister, Rose Ann Britton, Hattiesburg, MS; a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Britton will be held from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Geneva-Horne Cemetery, Matherville, MS. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Geneva-Horne Cemetery in Matherville, MS.
