Mr. Jimmy Byron "Bud" Brewer, 67, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Saturday, January 3, 1959, to the late Rev. J. C. Brewer and Patricia Ann Brown. He worked as a self-employed welder.

   Mr. Brewer is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. J. C. Brewer and Patricia Ann Brown; brother, Jason Brewer; stepfather, Shorty Brown; stepmother, Arva Jean Brewer. He is survived by his son, Jeremy Brewer of Folkston, GA; daughter, Brandie Necole Brewer of Byram, MS; brothers, Pee Wee Brown, Ricky Dale Brown, Jeffery Brewer, Samuel Bo Brewer, and Chad Brewer; sisters, Tina Snellgrove, Pam Canady, Tammy Anderson, Deborah Pendleton, Lesia Brewer, Virginia Bonner, Jannie Thompson, and Kathy Lee; three grandchildren, Alexander Brewer, Jade Raley, and Dylan Page.

   Visitation for Mr. Brewer will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, May 4, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Michael Cooley officiating. Interment will be in Lowery Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
