Mrs. Jill Lee Prater, 70, of Hickory, MS passed from this life Friday, April 5, 2024 at home in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Bethpage, NY on Tuesday, January 26, 1954 to Tully Joe Fanning and Cathrine Fanning. Mrs. Prater is preceded in death by her father, Tully Joe Fanning; mother, Cathrine Fanning; and sister, Jackie Lynn Riley. She is survived by her loving husband, Mr. Delmer Wayne Prater, Sr.; two sons, Delmer Wayne Prater(Jacqueline), of Waynesboro, MS; and Cody Joe Prater(Jennifer), of Meridian, MS; two grandchildren, Kodi Michaela Prater and Lilyanna Jolee Prater; a brother, Tully Joe Fanning, of Meridian, MS; and sister, Judith Leslie Rabb, of Waynesboro, MS. A Memorial Service for Mrs. Prater will be held at a later date by her family.
