Mr. Jerry Walley, 60, of Buckatunna, MS passed from this life Friday, July 28, 2023 at Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg. He was born in Laurel on Friday, August 3, 1962 to Jimmie Walley and Helen Ray Walley. He was a member of Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church. He worked as a Millwright at Scotch Plywood. Mr. Walley is preceded in death by his father, Jimmie Walley; mother, Helen Ray Walley; sister, Vanessa Grantham. He is survived by his wife, Angelia Walley, Chicora, MS; two sons, Justin Walley (Megan), Chicora, MS, Jared Walley (Madeline), Buckatunna, MS; brother, J. D. Walley, Piave, MS; sister, Regina Norsworthy (Tommy), Piave, MS; three grandchildren, Maddie Beth, Caroline, Nate. Visitation for Mr. Walley will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church, Chicora, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 30, 2023 at Pine Grove Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Bryan Jordan, Rev. Norman Nowell, and Rev. Sidney Hill officiating. Interment will be in Dailey Cemetery in Chicora, MS. Pallbearers are Michael Grantham, Josh Grantham, Skyler Norsworthy, Blake Norsworthy, Nick Freeman, Noah Holyfield.
