Mr. Wren Chapman, Sr., 97, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Brookwood Villa Personal Care Home in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Hiwannee, MS on Wednesday, August 4, 1926, to the late Grady and Norma Chapman. Mr. Chapman served in the United States Navy and was a Veteran of World War II. He was a member of Wayne Haven United Methodist Church. He worked as a Manager at Progressive Wholesale Company and later retired from Wayne General Hospital. Mr. Chapman is preceded in death by his wife, Wylma Chapman; parents, Grady and Norma Chapman. He is survived by his son, Wren Chapman, Jr. (Belinda) of Waynesboro, MS; daughter, Norma Jean Robinson (Ronnie) of Dallas, TX; six grandchildren, Sol Robinson (Lisa), Issac Robinson (Shoby), both of Dallas, TX, Bharata Robinson of Seattle, WA, Gauranga Lila Robinson (Omar Garcia) of Dallas, TX, Jahnavi Robinson (Shane Sobey) of Rickmansworth , England, Trey Chapman (Kim) of Petal, MS; 8 Great Grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Chapman will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, August 24, 2023, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Tony McDonald officiating. Interment will be in Hebron Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
