Mrs. Jeanette Street, 87, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. She was the second to be born with her beloved twin sister, Lillian Janelle Arnold, in Wayne County at Butter Milk Crossing, MS on Sunday, December 12, 1937, to the late Bonnie Christine and Bodie Lee Arnold. She was a member of Lowery Assembly of God Church.  She retired as a Self-Employed Poultry Farmer. Mrs. Street is preceded in death by her husband, Roland N. Street; parents, Bonnie Christine and Bodie Lee Arnold; two stepsons, John B. Street and Phillip Craig Street; three sisters, Lillian Janelle Hall, Catherine Hammack and Winnie Ruth Finley. She is survived by four sons, Roland S. Street, Anthony R. Cheeks (Autumn), Richard Darryl Cheeks (Jean), and Michael Cheeks (Suzanne); daughter, Cindy Cheeks; brother, Arthur Glen Arnold; sister, Thelma Beard (Grady), all of Waynesboro, MS; six grandchildren, Ashley Green (Timmy), April Case (Justin), Nichole Pugh (Robbie), Tristan Street,  Stephen Street, and Ella B. Street; five great grandchildren, Katie, Jacob, Jacob, Megan, and Shiloh; two great-great grandchildren, Jay Briggs and Casey; a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Street will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Michael Cooley officiating. Interment will be in Waller Ridge Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
