Mr. James Thomas "Tom" Toomey Jr. beloved Brother, Father, and Grandfather passed this life Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the age of 84. Tom was born August 16, 1944, to James Thomas "Tommy" Toomey and Esther Mabry Cunningham Toomey.

   Tom is proceeded in death by his loving wife, Myrtle Jo Toomey; parents, Tommy and Esther Toomey; sisters, Eunice Kenner and Alice Redding; brothers, Jack Toomey, Elvin Toomey, and Paul Toomey. He is survived by his son, James Thomas "Lil Tom" Toomey III, (Erin); granddaughter, Molly, all of Orange Beach AL; stepchildren, Terri Watson Stevison (Scott) of Satsuma, AL, Koby Watson of Huntsville, AL, and Greg Watson of Saraland, AL; brothers, Fred Toomey, Vernon Toomey, Carl Toomey, Richard Toomey; a host of nieces and nephews.

   A Graveside Service will be held 9:00 A.M. August 25, 2026, at Aquilla Cemetery, in Aquilla, AL with Rev. Fred Toomey officiating. Pallbearers are Michael Toomey, Furber Robinson, Dwight Moinzo, Waurice Smith, Randy Smith and Rodger Barnes.
