Mr. James D. Stanley, 55, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Thursday, April 3, 1969, to the late John Paul and Arethia Stanley. He was a member of Evergreen Baptist Church. He worked as an operator at the Kelley Brothers Contractors, Inc. Mr. Stanley is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Cheri Stanley; daughter, Victoria Kirkland (Greg); brother, Anthony Paul Stanley; sister, Roxanna Stanley (Otis Blackledge), all of Waynesboro, MS; grandchildren, Brayden Clements, Ross Clements, and Annah-Kayte Clements; six nieces and nephews, D-Ann, Kallie, Miah, Amy, Malorie, and A J. Visitation for Mr. Stanley will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday, August 2, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 2, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Marvin Griffin officiating. Interment will be in Henderson Cemetery in Greene County, MS.
