Mr. James A. "Monk" Guy, 72, of Millry, AL passed from this life Sunday, June 29, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Thursday, July 3, 1952. He was a faithful member and Deacon of Antioch Baptist Church. He retired as a Chemical Operator at BASF Chemical. Mr. Guy is preceded in death by his mother, Louise Guy; two Sisters-In-Law, Kitty Guy and Annie Jean Guy. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Annette Guy of Millry, AL; son, Brock Guy (Mariah) of Silas, AL; five brothers, Roy Guy (Melita), Herbert Guy, Tommy Guy (Gail), all of Millry, AL, Donald "Cotton" Guy (Clinette) of Semmes, AL, Lonnie Guy (Beverly) of Millry, AL; two grandsons, Logan and Ledger Guy; a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Guy will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Antioch Baptist Church in Millry, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Antioch Baptist Church in Millry, AL with Rev. Charles Allbrooks officiating. Interment will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Millry, AL. Pallbearers are Chad Guy, Brad Guy, Chris Guy, Lance Guy, Justin Guy, and Derek Guy. Honorary Pallbearer will be Karl Evans.
