Mr. James Bennett Job, 85, of Gautier, MS passed from this life Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Ocean Springs Hospital in Ocean Springs, MS. He was born in Hackensack, NJ on Wednesday, December 28, 1938, to the late James Bennett Job, Sr. and Thelma Theresa Job. He worked as the director of transportation at Northern Electric Company in Waynesboro, MS and retired as executive director of transportation at Sun-Beam Oster house hold products. He will always be remembered for loving his family and providing for his loving wife, children, and grandchildren. Mr. Job is preceded in death by his parents, James Bennett Job, Sr. and Thelma Theresa Job. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, June Job of Gautier, MS formerly of Waynesboro, MS; two sons, James Bennett Job, III of Latimer, MS, Scott Owen Job (Evelyn) of Ocean Springs, MS; daughter, Amanda Victoria Meador (Daniel) of Purvis, MS; two half-sisters, Rev. Jill Job Saxby of Cape Elizabeth, ME, Judy Pfeifer of Manassas, VI; five grandchildren, Wesley Scott Job, Natalie Grace Meador, Ethan Wayne Driver, Khloe Alexis Hall, and Ava Grace Hall; Brother-In-Law, Clifton Walker (Betty) of Waynesboro, MS; nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Job will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Dr. Steve Bruns officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
