Mr. James Arthur "Jimmy" Keyes, 77, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, April 1, 2022 at Wayne General Hospital. He was born in Lafayette, IN on Saturday, July 8, 1944 to Forrest A. Keyes and Helen McAdams Keyes. He had worked as a Welder at Keyes Welding. Mr. Jimmy is preceded in death by his father, Forrest A. Keyes; mother, Helen McAdams Keyes; son, David Keyes; brother, Bobby Keyes; two sisters, Charlotte Keyes, Betty Hair. He is survived by his wife, Helen Keyes; son, Eddy Keyes (Michelle); grandson, Tyler Keyes (Taylor), all of Waynesboro, MS; brother, Bill Keyes, Gulf Breeze, FL; sister, Deborah Phillips (Jay), Waynesboro, MS; several nieces and nephews; Goddaughter, Lorie Busby. Graveside Services for Mr. Jimmy will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Winchester Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Jim Koen officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or other favorite charity.
