Mr. James C. "Jim" Britton, Jr., 66, of Millry, AL passed from this life Saturday, November 29, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Opelika, AL on Tuesday, August 18, 1959, to the late James Conrad Britton, Sr. and Betty Elizabeth Fuzzell Britton. He was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church. Jim proudly served in the United States Navy from 1978 to 1982. He worked as owner and operator of Britton Farms. Jim is survived by his brother, Joe David Britton (Ann) of Millry, AL; two sisters, Connie Gant (Billy) of Millry, AL and Kathy Britton of Mobile, AL; nieces and nephews, Heather Gant, Hillary Cooley (Jason), Haley Hill (Joseph), and JoAnna Rigney (Justin); great nieces and nephews, Tristan Cooley, Ethan Cooley, Jaiden Cooley, Emery Hill, Aubree Hill, Lilly Hill, Molly Hill, and Britton Rigney; uncle, Buddy Fuzzell of Trussville, AL; aunt, Mavis Britton McCain of Waynesboro, MS. A Graveside Service for Jim will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Millry, AL with Rev. Scott Giles officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Millry, AL. Pallbearers are Mike Giles, Steve Burton, Milton Britton, Tristan Cooley, Ethan Cooley, Jason Cooley, Joseph Hill, and Justin Rigney. Honorary Pallbearers are Roy "Poncho" McIlwain, Teddy Joe Britton, Morgan Taylor, and Randy McIlwain.
