Mr. James H. Davis, 88, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Pine View Health and Rehabilitation in Waynesboro. He was born in Waynesboro on Monday, April 1, 1935 to James A. Davis and Dora Davis. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. He retired as an Automotive Mechanic. Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Davis; father, James A. Davis; mother, Dora Davis; son, James Mitchell Davis; brother, Dempsey Davis; two sisters, Daisy Cochran, Maddie Patrick. He is survived by his two sons, Kenny Davis (Lesia), Waynesboro, MS, Aubrey Davis (Alesia), all of Waynesboro, MS; six grandchildren, James Eric Davis, Jada Leann Lowe, Wesley Kent Davis, Amy Leigh Greenwood, Jamie Lynn Tubbs, Jeremy Myles Davis; 14 great grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Davis will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, April 14, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Charles Allbrooks officiating. Interment will be in Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS. Pallbearers are Eric Davis, Wesley Davis, Mason Davis, Lou Lowe, Sam Greenwood, Jonathan Holland, Gary Holland.
