Mr. James J. Green, 61, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at Jeff Anderson Memorial Hospital in Meridian, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Tuesday, February 21, 1961, to the late Jack Frasier Green and Elaine Reynolds Green. He was a member of Waynesboro First United Methodist Church. He was retired as a Maintenance Planner at Hood Industries. Mr. Green is preceded in death by his parents, Jack Frasier and Elaine Green. He is survived by his son, Jayce Green of Hattiesburg, MS; daughter, Dr. Alyse Green (Tyler Blackwell) of Meridian, MS; grandson, Knox Green; granddaughter, Kadence Green both of Hattiesburg, MS. Visitation for Mr. Green will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Dr. Steven Bruns, and Jayce Green officiating. Interment will be in Waynesboro Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
