Mr. James Eric Davis, 48, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, July 25, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Thursday, October 21, 1976, to James Mitchell Davis and Annie Heap. He was a member of West Shady Grove Baptist Church. He worked as a traveling salesman in the Oil Field.

Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his father, James Mitchell Davis. He is survived by his mother, Annie Heap (Donald); four children, Mason Davis (Jayleigh King), Haley Walters (Tanner), Sawyer Davis, and Stele Davis; fiancée, Jessica Page; brother, Colby Pitts (Beth); sister, Jamie Tubbs (Matthew).

Visitation for Mr. Davis will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, July 28, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at Arrington Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS with Dr. Stephen Smith officiating. Interment will be in Arrington Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
