Mr. James E. "Blue" Beasley, 77, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, August 9, 2024, at Pine View Health and Rehabilitation in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Wednesday, October 9, 1946, to the late Ellis Ray and Sadie Marcella Beasley. Mr. Beasley served in the United States Army National Guard. He was a member of New Haven Baptist Church. He retired as a truck driver for Local LP Gas Company.

Mr. Beasley is preceded in death by his parents, Ellis Ray and Sadie Marcella Beasley; son, James Phillip Beasley; brother, Ellis Rodney Beasley; two sisters, Ida Faye Burton, Jeannie West. He is survived by his daughter, Glenda Renee Butler (Ronnie) of Shubuta, MS; longtime companion, Hazel G. Beasley of Millry, AL; brother, Gary Wayne Beasley (Audrey) of Buckatunna, MS; six grandchildren, Jenny Millican (Clint), Gabe Beasley, Shelly Beasley, Carly Turner (Brent), Becky Beasley, and Cody Beasley; five great grandchildren, Catherine, Sadie Faye, Madeleine, Charles, and Kyleigh.

A Graveside Service for Mr. Beasley will be held at 9:00 AM Monday, August 12, 2024, at New Haven Cemetery in Millry, AL with Rev. James Saucier, Jr. officiating. Interment will be in New Haven Cemetery in Millry, AL.
