Mrs. Jackie Mills Bishop, 69, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Providence Hospital in Mobile, AL. She was born in Vincennes, IN on Friday, January 21, 1955 to John Bernard Riney and Jean Riney. She was a member of Chicora First Baptist Church. Mrs. Jackie received her master's degree of Education from William Carey University and was a retired Teacher. She served as a volunteer at Wayne General Hospital as a "Pink Lady" and was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Jackie is preceded in death by her father, John Riney, mother, Jean Riney; daughter, Margie West; two brothers, John Wilson, William Wilson. She is survived by her husband, Douglas Bishop, Waynesboro, MS; son, John "J. R." Mills (Paige), Buckatunna, MS; daughter, Relda Freeman (Sam), Clara, MS; son, Josh Bishop (Chelsie), Waynesboro, MS; sister, Ila Schierenberg, Indianapolis, IN; 10 grandchildren, Jalyn Mills, Duncan Mills, Solomon Mills, Crystal Cockrell, J. T. Eidson, Hannah Freeman, Samuel Freeman, Brantlee Bishop, Mazzlyn Bishop, Delilah Bishop; five great Grandchildren; 11 nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service for Mrs. Jackie will be held at 6:00 PM Monday, August 26, 2024 at Chicora First Baptist Church in Chicora, MS with Rev. Mitchell Smith, Rev. David Roberson, and Rev. Michael Beckwith officiating.
