Obituary

Mr. J. T. Chapman, 74, a native and resident of Wayne Co., MS died Saturday, March 06, 2010 at Southern Living Speciality Care Residency in Waynesboro, MS. He was retired as a Pumper/Gauger at Hunt Oil Comp.. He was a member of Chapparal Baptist Church and served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Chapman is preceded in death by his Father, P. L. "Buck" Chapman and Mother, Myrtle Chapman; Brother, Thomas "Dyke" Chapman; Two Sisters, Margie Lindsey, Doris Lindsey. He is survived by his Wife, Irma Jean Chapman, Waynesboro, MS; Two Daughters, Linda Cran (William), Michelle Keyes (Eddy), both of Waynesboro, MS; Three Step Sons, Grover Hollingshead (Kathy), James Hollingshead (Sue), David Hollingshead (Kim), all of Waynesboro, MS; Step Daughter, Kathy Robinson (Rusty), Mobile, AL; Six Grand Children, Will Cran (Jacqueline), Tyler Keyes, Meagan Cran, Jerry Pitts (Ashley), Josh Hollingshead, Paige Hollingshead, all of Waynesboro, MS; One Great Grand Child, Jon Michael Pitts, Waynesboro, MS. Visitation for Mr. Chapman will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM, Monday, March 08, 2010 in the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 09, 2010 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Whit Lewis and Rev. Sidney Hill officiating. Interment will be in Chapparal Baptist Cemetery, Wayne Co., MS. Freeman Funeral Home of Waynesboro, MS is in charge of arrangements.
