Mr. Ivan Q. Eubanks, 82, of Helena, AL passed from this life Monday, April 21, 2025, at UAB Family Medical West in McCalla, AL. He was born in Lucedale, MS on Saturday, December 5, 1942, to the late Floyd J. Eubanks and Earnestine Cooley Eubanks. Mr. Eubanks served in the United States Army. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was a long-time member of H. S. Stansel Masonic Lodge where he was a Past Master and served as secretary. He retired as a self-employed forester. Mr. Eubanks is preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Eubanks; parents, Earnestine Cooley and Floyd J. Eubanks; two brothers, Zelton Eubanks and Verkuel Eubanks; two sisters, Melva E. Siddon and Lois E. Lawton. He is survived by his son, Bryan J. Eubanks (Holly) of Brandon, MS; daughter, Robin L. Rogers (Aaron) of Helena, AL; brother, Lemuel Eubanks (Nita) of El Lago, TX; sister, Julia E. Cloy of Jackson, MS; seven grandchildren, Phillip Cheyne Eubanks, Matthew Donavan Eubanks, Jacob Bennett Eubanks, Jenna Noelle Eubanks, Haley Elizabeth Rogers, William Evan Rogers, and Jack Aaron Rogers. Visitation for Mr. Eubanks will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday, April 25, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, April 25, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Michael Stevenson officiating. Interment will be in Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
