Mrs. Imogene Jones Kelly, 89, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Monday, December 29, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Waynesboro on Sunday, July 12, 1936 to Eugene "Buddy" Jones and Liza Pearl Jones. She was a member of Trinity First Baptist Church.  She was retired as a Cafeteria Worker at Wayne County School District.  Mrs. Kelly is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph "Buck" Kelly; father, Eugene "Buddy" Jones; mother, Liza Pearl Jones; son, Joseph "Joe" Kelly; daughter, Diane Hooper; two brothers, Jessie "J C" Jones and Eugene Jones; two sisters, Bobbie Faye Douglas and Betty Maxcey. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Kelly (Susan), Ellisville, MS; daughter, Brenda Kelly Bass, Waynesboro, MS; daughter-in-law, Judy Kelly, Waynesboro, MS; brother, Billy Jones, Waynesboro, MS; eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.  A Graveside Service for Mrs. Kelly will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, January 2, 2026 at Trinity First Baptist Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Roger Douglas officiating. Interment will be in Trinity First Baptist Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
