Mr. Hubert James, 67, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Tuesday, February 23, 1954 to Ernest and Esther James. He worked as a project manager in the Oil Field. Mr. James is preceded in death by his father, Ernest James; mother, Esther James; step-son, Chris Wilson; two brothers, Charles "Butch" James, Lavell James. He is survived by his wife, Charlene James of Waynesboro, MS; two sons, Adam James, John James (Jesse) both of Waynesboro, MS; two step-daughters, Amy Hollinghead (Wesley) of Millry, AL, Sonya Wilson of Wilmer, AL; sister, Kathy Stagg (Fred) of Waynesboro, MS; five step grandchildren, Jayla, Jaiden, Justus, Makaia, & Keegan. Visitation for Mr. James will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Calvin Parmer officiating. Interment will be in Jones-Hill Cemetery in Millry, AL.
