Mr. Hubert David "Jackie" Butler, 74, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Monday, June 20, 2022, at his residence in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Mobile, AL on Thursday, November 6, 1947. Mr. Butler served in the United States Army and was a Veteran of Vietnam. He worked as a Millwright at Ciba-Geigy Corporation. Mr. Butler is preceded in death by his mother, Geneva Knight. He is survived by his three sons, David Hubert Butler, II of Waynesboro, MS, Michael Butler, Cody Butler both of Copeland, AL; daughter, Kristie Barnett of Waynesboro, MS; three brothers, Michael Knight, George Knight, III, Terry Knight all of Saraland, AL; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild. Visitation for Mr. Butler will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS. Interment will be in Hebron Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
