Mr. Howard Earl Layton, 61, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, August 21, 2026, at Springhill Medical Center in Mobile, AL. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Tuesday, December 22, 1964 to the late Larry and Mary Nell Layton. He was a member of Mulberry Baptist Church.

   Mr. Layton is preceded in death by his parent; cousin, Rusty Williams. He is survived by his cousins, Neal Williams, Walley Williams, and Leigh Ann Hartsell.

   A Graveside Service for Mr. Layton will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at White House Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS. Interment will be in White House Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
