Mr. Hermon Young, 85, of State Line, MS passed from this life Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at his residence. He was born in State Line, MS on Friday, April 2, 1937 to the late Louis and Martha Young. He was a member of State Line United Methodist Church. He was retired as a dispatcher from the Illinois Central Railroad. Mr. Young is preceded in death by his wife, Leuneil Young; parents, Louis and Martha Young; four brothers, John Young, Alman Young, Colman Young, Howard Young; two sisters, Catherine Mooneyham, Mary Lynn Thornton. He is survived by his two sons, Perry Young (Angie), Mike Young; daughter, Janey Kittrell (Steve); brother, Herbert Young (JoAnn), all of State Line, MS; six grandchildren, Adam Kittrell (Maggie), Alecia Campo (Nick), Kady Crane (Chaz), Justin Young, Jason Young, Erica Ray (Sammy); 11 great grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Young will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 30, 2023 at State Line United Methodist Church, State Line, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 30, 2023 at State Line United Methodist Church in State Line, MS with Rev. Bobby Morris officiating. Interment will be in State Line Cemetery in State Line, MS.
