Mrs. Helen Mason Grimes, 79, of Millry, AL passed from this life Friday, March 21, 2025, at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center in Mobile, AL. She was born in Silas, AL on Tuesday, September 4, 1945, to the late Margaret J. and Leroy Mason. She was a member of Millry Baptist Church. She retired as an operator at Vanity Fair in Jackson, AL.

Mrs. Grimes is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret J. and Leroy Mason; two brothers, Danny Mason and James Junior Mason; sister, Lucille Adams. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Charles "Tony" Grimes; three daughters, Rita Jones (Darrell), Lori Beasley (Mitchell), all of Millry, AL, and Christy Williams (Jason) of Chatom, AL; two brothers, Terry "Doby" Mason (Faye) of Creola, AL and Larry Paul Mason (Mary) of Bay Minette, AL; sister, Betty Hayes (Caron) of Camden, AL; four grandchildren, Dara Murray (Matt), Tayler Sikes (Bobby), Mackenzie Grimes, and Jessi Williams; eight great grandchildren, Jordan, Cullen, Braden, Mason, Jax, Brooks, John Weston, and Millie.

Visitation for Mrs. Grimes will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Millry Baptist Church, Millry, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Millry Baptist Church in Millry, AL with Dr. Randy Billingsley and Bro. Bailey Hill officiating. Interment will be in Kimbrough Cemetery in Millry, AL. Pallbearers are Colby Myers, David Gant, Jr., Eric Gant, Matt Murray, Jordan Sikes, and Daniel Mason. Honorary Pallbearers are Caron Hayes and Darrell Guy.
