Mrs. Helen Chason, 86, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Monday, March 24, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Boston, MA on Saturday, February 11, 1939, to the late Eleanor and Insey Bell. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She retired as a credit manager for Sprint. Her passions were singing in the choir at church and quilting. She enjoyed hand stitching the quilts she personally designed. She was a member of two quilting clubs, one in Sharon, MS and the other at Liberty Church in Waynesboro, MS. She will always be remembered for her warm heart and bright smile. Mrs. Chason is preceded in death by her parents, Eleanor and Insey Bell; son, Timothy Chason; brother, Richard "Dick" Bell. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Lloyd M. Chason of Waynesboro, MS; son, Troy M. Chason; daughter, Shelly Lindroos, both of League City, TX; two grandchildren, Lance Lindroos and Lola Lindroos. Visitation for Mrs. Chason will be held from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday, March 28, 2025, at Liberty Baptist Church, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 28, 2025, at Liberty Baptist Church in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Phillip Gandy officiating. Interment will be in Liberty Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
