Mrs. Hazel McNeil Jackson, 90, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Pine View Health and Rehabilitation in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Shubuta, MS on Sunday, June 10, 1934, to the late George and Virginia "Virgie" McNeil. She retired as an Assembly Worker at Northern Electric Company. Mrs. Jackson loved playing with her grandchildren, gardening, and enjoyed a good yard sale.

Mrs. Jackson is preceded in death by her husband, David Jackson; parents, George and Virginia "Virgie" McNeil; step mother, Eula Mae McNeil; three sons, George Roberts, Glen Roberts, Sr., and Larry Roberts; three sisters, Lila Dean, Wilma Smith, and Bobbie Twiner; half sister, Dorothy Hershey; granddaughter, Tammy Jordan; two great granddaughters, Kailynn Nicholson and Maggie Roberts; great grandson, Braden Nicholson; great-great grandson, Canaan Loper. She is survived by her daughter, Sheryl Sosa (Peter Smith) of Jonesboro, AR; two sons, Donald Roberts and Jimmy Roberts (Debbie), both of Waynesboro, MS; sister, Anita "Tennie" Thomas of Eucutta, MS; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Jackson will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday, June 6, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 6, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Brad Nicholson officiating. Interment will be in Zions Rest Cemetery in Eucutta, MS.
