Mrs. Hazel Waller Holmes, 93, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Monday, November 15, 2021 at Wayne General Hospital. She was born in Waynesboro on Saturday, March 3, 1928 to Harvey Waller and Ruby Waller. She was a member of West Shady Grove Baptist Church. She was a Homemaker. Mrs. Hazel is preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Holmes; father, Harvey Waller; mother, Ruby Waller; son, Glen Bowdin; brother, Troy Waller; two sisters, Mary Bush, Joyce Hosmer. She is survived by her Daughter-In-Law, Janet Bowdin, Acworth, GA; Brother-In-Law, James Bush, Waynesboro, MS; Sister-In-Law, Etta Waller, Saraland, AL; three grandchildren, Sabrina Roberts (Leonard), Donnie Bowdin (Awanda), Erik Bowdin; four great grandchildren, Bianca Bowdin, Waylon Bowdin, Jeffrey Roberts, Elana Roberts; several nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Hazel will be held from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM, Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Arrington Cemetery in Waynesboro with Dr. Stephen Smith officiating. Interment will be in Arrington Cemetery.
