Mr. Harold G. Johnson, 82, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, September 26, 2025, at his residence with the love of his life at his side. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Wednesday, April 14, 1943, to the late Lettie and Chris Johnson. Mr. Johnson served in the United States National Guard. He was a member of Harvest Temple Church. He retired as a millwright of 38 years at Scott Paper Company. After retirement Harold went back to work and helped build a power plant in Columbus, MS. Mr. Johnson is preceded in death by his parents, Lettie and Chris Johnson; granddaughter, Jessica Dustine Johnson; two brothers, Robert Earl Johnson and Roy Johnson. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Katherine Johnson of Waynesboro, MS; two sons, Jeffery Johnson of Waynesboro, MS and Mark Johnson (Kelly) of Saraland, AL; four grandchildren, Anna Johnson of Mobile, AL, Jordan Woodall of Huntsville, AL, Kip Johnson of Gulf Shores, AL, and Maddox Johnson of Chickasaw, AL; two great grandchildren, Jayden Woodall and Malachi Johnson; brother, Tommy Johnson of Clara, MS. Visitation for Mr. Johnson will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Harvest Temple Church in Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Harvest Temple Church in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Eddie Bean and Bro. Turner Ward officiating. Interment will be in Lee's Chapel Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
